Annie was named after our newest departure location the New England Aquarium. The New England Aquarium has been a Boston institution since 1969. With over 70 exhibits and thousands of animals, the Aquarium is a fun attraction for the entire family. They have one of the largest penguin exhibits in the world, fur seals, harbor seals, leafy and weedy sea dragons, turtles, sharks and more! Their 4 story Giant Ocean Tank holds more than 200,000 gallons, is 40 feet wide and 23 feet deep. You can also see where they keep the big animals and take a Whale Watching trip to see Humpback, Minke, Fin Whales and even the occasional dolphin!  Annie was christened by the Aquarium’s former president Bud Ris in 2010.
