Fanny gets her name for the neighborhood just east of the Back Bay called The Fenway. Many people are familiar with Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, but there are many more places to visit in the area. The Fenway neighborhood is home to some of the finest art museums in the world including the Museum of Fine Arts as well as the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. It is also a neighborhood that features many of the city’s finest colleges and universities.
